Thank you for your interest in Belleville Wix Academy. We are a vibrant & inclusive primary school which shares a special, bi-cultural community with École de Wix. We have a class taught in English and a bilingual class taught in English and French in each year group from Reception to Year 6 and a Nursery taught in English.

We were judged Ofsted 'Good' in October 2019 with an 'Outstanding' Early Years provision. Children are happy and successful here, and achieve well beyond the national average. 

You can make an application to apply for Belleville Wix Academy at any time and we do occasionally have places available in Years 1 to 6 in both the English and bilingual English/French classes when families have moved away from the area. 

Although applications for places in Reception to Year 6 are made through Wandsworth Council, we would recommend contacting Belleville Wix Academy first as we will be able to advise you whether there are currently any places available in the year group you are interested in.

We encourage parents/carers to visit our wonderful school before applying and are happy to offer an individual tour for families interested in joining our school at any point throughout the year (after the Nursery/Reception usual September start).

If you would like to discuss your child's requirements and have an individual tour - please email [email protected] and our team will be happy to help you. It would be helpful if you could include the following information:

• Your name and contact details
• Whether you are interested in the English or Bilingual Stream
• What year group you are interested in, e.g. Year 3.
• When you would like your child to join the school - e.g. we're moving into the area and are interested in a place from January 2025.

You are also welcome to attend one of our larger open days, which are taking place on Thursday 14th November (English Stream focus) and Wednesday 27th November (Bilingual stream focus).  Please visit our school tour page to sign up for a place. Belleville Wix Academy is very close to the borough boundary with Lambeth. If you live in Lambeth and would like to attend our school, you will need to apply for an in-year place through the Lambeth Council website or you can email them at [email protected]

We are always very happy to help if you have questions before applying, would like to know if there might be a place available, or would like to arrange a tour of the school to find out more. If a place is available, we will contact you to offer you the place. If there are no spaces currently available in that year group, your child will be added to the waiting list and we will contact you once they have reached the top of the waiting list and a place is available.

Once you receive an offer, you can either accept the offer, or if you would prefer a different stream (English or Bilingual), you can decline the place and stay on the waiting list (although we cannot guarantee that another space will become available).

When you accept your place we can then arrange start date, uniform, and any other information you need. We will also talk to you about what could help your child as they start at a new school.
